Whilst the group had been working together for some time (many of them on the environmental policies for the area’s Neighbourhood Plan) this was the date where Haslemere Biodiversity came into being in its own right.
Haslemere Biodiversity emphasises the community’s commitment to translating national biodiversity initiatives into local action, using knowledgeable volunteers and ecological experts to address the challenges highlighted by national level State of Nature Reports.
